On September 4, 2012, ERS submitted to the Texas Legislature two comprehensive studies on state employee health and retirement benefits. Both reports are the result of a year-long research process designed to be transparent and to include all stakeholders with an interest in the future of state employee benefits. The legislative charge was to present a range of options for the Legislature’s consideration.
Hear ERS Acting Executive Director Paula A. Jones discuss the reports before the House Committee on Pensions, February 18, 2013. (Must have Real Player to watch.)
