Your Texa$aver Beneficiaries

Texa$aver needs an original, signed Beneficiary Form in order to distribute your assets according to your wishes when you die. Review your beneficiaries whenever you have a life event such as a divorce, birth or death. If you have both a 401(k) and 457 Plan, your beneficiaries may be the same or different for each account.Contact Texa$aver with questions about your beneficiary.

To select or update your beneficiary:

  1. Print out the beneficiary form for your account:
  2. Return the completed form to Texa$aver via mail, fax or email.

Are you a beneficiary?

If you are designated as a beneficiary, ERS will inform you of the benefits you have, including Texa$aver account money, after a death has been reported.

Note: Your Texa$aver beneficiary is recorded separately from your insurance beneficiary.
