Costs are lower when using a participating network pharmacy.
HealthSelect Participants
Caremark is the prescription drug benefit manager for participants in HealthSelectSM of Texas. Register on the Caremark website with your prescription card. Registering allows you to take advantage of Caremark's many online services, including searching for a network pharmacy and online prescription refills from the mail service pharmacy.
To get your medication, take your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. Using a network pharmacy will lower your costs and the pharmacy will submit the claim for you.
You can submit long-term or maintenance medications to the mail order pharmacy by completing the Caremark mail order form. You can also purchase long-term and maintenance medications at participating EDS pharmacies.
Community First Participants
You must use participating pharmacies to receive benefits. National Pharmaceutical Services (NPS) processes mail order prescriptions for Community First Health Plans members through Integrated HMO Pharmacy (IHMO). Registering online with IHMO allows to order your prescription refills from the mail service pharmacy.
To get your medication, take your prescription to a participating pharmacy. You can submit a prescription for a long-term or maintenance medication to the mail order pharmacy by completing the Community First mail order form. Details are available on the Community First website.
Scott & White Participants
You must use participating pharmacies to receive benefits. Simply take your prescription to a Scott & White Health Plan Pharmacy or a participating network pharmacy of your choice.
To get your medication, take your prescription to a participating pharmacy. You can submit a prescription for a long-term or maintenance medication to the mail order pharmacy by completing the S&W mail order form. Details are available on the Scott & White website.
