Accelerated Life Benefit for Dependent Term Life
If your dependent:
- is diagnosed with a terminal condition, and
- has a life expectancy of twelve months or less,
you may request payment of the dependent’s term life coverage in a single lump sum amount before your dependent’s death.
The amount of the payment will reduce the Dependent Term Life Insurance amount to zero and no benefit will be payable at your dependent's death.
