  • Continuing benefits when you leave employment

    Long-Term Care benefit payments may continue after you terminate employment if you are:

    • employed on the date the disabling condition began, and
    • enrolled in the coverage on the date the disability began.

    If you retire or leave state employment, your coverage may be continued at group rates. You will continue to pay premiums directly to John Hancock.
     


  • What is the cost?

    Premiums are calculated on your age and the coverage levels you choose. Calculate your premium on the John Hancock website.
