ERS is gearing up for Summer Enrollment, when employees and retirees not eligible for Medicare can make changes to their health insurance and other benefits.
Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM is a new health plan option available to ERS employees and retirees who are not eligible for Medicare. It includes a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) paired with a health savings account (HSA) to help pay for qualified medical expenses. Participants cannot enroll in the TexFlex health care account but can enroll in a limited flexible spending account (LFSA).
