    Real Appeal is a new online weight loss program available to eligible HealthSelectSM of Texas participants not enrolled in Medicare Part B – employees, retirees and their covered dependents ages 18 and over – with a body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher.

    Minnesota Life and Securian Financial Group - new brand, same benefits

    Minnesota Life – the administrator of basic, optional and dependent life insurance and voluntary accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) – has adopted the brand name of its parent company, Securian Financial Group, Inc.

    ERS is gearing up for Summer Enrollment, when employees and retirees not eligible for Medicare can make changes to their health insurance and other benefits.

    Consumer Directed HealthSelect info online, Limited Flexible Spending Accounts

    Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM is a new health plan option available to ERS employees and retirees who are not eligible for Medicare. It includes a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) paired with a health savings account (HSA) to help pay for qualified medical expenses. Participants cannot enroll in the TexFlex health care account but can enroll in a limited flexible spending account (LFSA).
