    HealthSelect of TexasSM is administered by UnitedHealthcare and available to ERS members and their eligible dependents. Includes a comprehensive prescription drug program administered by OptumRx.

    Consumer Directed HealthSelect

    Consumer Directed HealthSelect is available to employees and retirees not eligible for Medicare as a health insurance alternative. The plan is made up of a high-deductible health plan and health savings account.  

    Prescription Drug Program

    The Prescription Drug Program is available as part of your health insurance benefits. Use the retail network pharmacy or the mail service to fill your prescriptions.

    Tobacco Policies

    Under state law, all people enrolled in the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) health insurance plans must certify their status as a tobacco user or non-user.

    You and your eligible dependents can enroll in one of these dental plans.
